<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />HELD - April 13, 1981 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Rosevil1e, Minnesota, <br />was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the <br />13th day of April, 1981, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, <br />Councilmen Franke, Johnson, Kehr and Curley <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Johnson introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7139 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi11e has received a number <br />of informal and formal inquiries regarding the a~ai1abi1ity of <br />industrial and commercial revenue bond financing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi11e is desirous of changing <br />the current policy to limit industrial revenue financing to <br />industrial zoned property; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Rosevil1e that Resolution No. 6788 which prohibits <br />industrial and commercial revenue bond financing is hereby rescinded; <br />and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Rosevi11e will <br />receive applications for industrial revenue financing pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 474, and in accordance with the City of <br />Rosevi11e Industrial Revenue Financing Policy/Procedural Memo <br />attached and marked as IIExhi bit All. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by Member Demos and upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted in favor of the reso1ttion: Franke, Johnson. <br />Curley and Demos, <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: Kehr <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared passed and <br /> <br />adopted. <br />
