<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE ROSEVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL - HELD APRIL 13, 1981 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />called and held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, April 13, <br />1981, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen <br />Franke, Johnson, Kehr and Curley, <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Johnson introduced and moved the adoption of <br />the following resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7140 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Land Planning Act, Minnesota <br />Statutes, Section 743.851-473.872, requires that the City of <br />Roseville prepare and submit a Comprehensive Plan to the Metro- <br />politan Council; and <br /> <br />ImEREAS, the Metropol itan Counci 1 and the City of Rosevi 11 e <br />have entered into a contract No. 7827 dated March 3, 1978, for <br />local planning assistance grants, which was subsequently amended <br />on April 3, 1979, awarding a total amount of $14,441.00 to assist <br />the City of Roseville in carrying out the required planning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has allocated $7,353.00 <br />to the City of Roseville in additional grant funds for 1980-81; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has completed the Planning <br />program required of it by the Metropolitan Land Planning Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the actual total cost of the required planning <br />activities was $51,000.00 as documented by the final progress report, <br />attached hereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the total grants from the Metropolitan Council of <br />$21,794.00 will not exceed 75% of the total actual costs of carrying <br />out the required planning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, grant funds from other sources plus Metropolitan <br />Council grants will not exceed one hundred percent of the actual <br />planning cost; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE requests $7,353.00 <br />in 1980-81 entitlement funds and authorizes the City Manager to <br />execute the agreement amendment to the above referenced contract on <br />behalf of the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Councilman Franke <br />
