<br />EXTRACT OF MINURES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />HELD - April 27, 1981 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />the City of Rosevi1le, met in regular session at the City Hall on <br />Monday, April 27, 1981, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The fOllowing members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen <br />Franke, Johnson, Kehr and Curley <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Councilman Curley introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7144 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has <br />determined that traffic signals should be placed on the off ramps <br />of TH 36 at Lexington Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi11e desires that emergency vehicle <br />control signal pre-emptive systems should be placed on both such signal <br />systems; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to have an agreement between the <br />State and the City to cover the construction, revision, maintenance, <br />operation and eventual removal of such system; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Rosevi11e approves <br />Agreement No. 60382 for the construction, revision, maintenance, operation <br />and eventual removal of emergency vehicle traffic control signal pre- <br />emptive systems on TH 36, north and south ramps at Lexington Avenue, <br />identified as State Project 6212-130; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are <br />hereby authorized to sign said agreement on behalf of the City of <br />Rosevi11e. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Member Kehr and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor: All present; and the following opposed: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and <br /> <br />adopted. <br />
