EXTRACT OF MINURES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA HELD - April 27, 1981 * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Rosevi1le, met in regular session at the City Hall on Monday, April 27, 1981, at 7:30 P.M. The fOllowing members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Franke, Johnson, Kehr and Curley and the following were absent: None Councilman Curley introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 7144 WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has determined that traffic signals should be placed on the off ramps of TH 36 at Lexington Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi11e desires that emergency vehicle control signal pre-emptive systems should be placed on both such signal systems; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to have an agreement between the State and the City to cover the construction, revision, maintenance, operation and eventual removal of such system; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Rosevi11e approves Agreement No. 60382 for the construction, revision, maintenance, operation and eventual removal of emergency vehicle traffic control signal pre- emptive systems on TH 36, north and south ramps at Lexington Avenue, identified as State Project 6212-130; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to sign said agreement on behalf of the City of Rosevi11e. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Kehr and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: All present; and the following opposed: None. WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
