<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />HELD - April 27, 1981 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* * <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />the City of Roseville, met in regular session at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 27th day of April, 1981, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen <br />Franke, Johnson, Kehr and Curley <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilman Franke <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7146 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, both the City of St. Anthony and the City of Roseville <br />have held public hearings for the construction of a storm sewer facility <br />in Anthony Lane which carries storm water from both cities"the City <br />of St. Anthony and the City of Roseville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cost to provide such facility should be shared between <br />the two communities on the basis of 58% - St. Anthony share; and 42% - <br />Roseville share; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony wishes to reconstruct Anthony <br />Lane entirely at its cost; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville wishes to construct a new water <br />main between County Road C-2 and County Road C, entirely at its cost; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is mutually beneficial to have this work done through <br />a joint contract, the City of St. Anthony administering the work; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a Joint Powers Agreement between <br />the City of St. Anthony and the City of Roseville for storm sewer, <br />street and watermain work near Anthony Lane and the joint city limits <br />be approved and the Mayor and the Manager be authorized to sign such <br />agreement in behalf of the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: All present <br /> <br />and the following against: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
