EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA HELD - t~ay 11, 1981 * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Roseville, met in regular session at the City Hall on Monday, the 11th day of May, 1981, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Johnson, Kehr and Franke and the following were absent: Councilman Curley Councilman Franke and moved its adoption: introduced the following resol uti on RESOLUTION NO. 7156 WHEREAS, County Ditch 4 south of Lydia Avenue and portions of Oasis Pond are experiencing or causing erosion problems period- ically over the years; and WHEREAS, these facilities are in need of reconstruction or modification to improve the situation; and WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi11 e has previ ously requested that this work be included in the Long Lake Chain of Lakes Grant Program; and WHEREAS, this improvement was favorably considered previously by the Board and by the Pollution Control Agency staff, but was unable to be undertaken in the program because of funding uncertain- ties; and WHEREAS, it now appears that funds have become available to do this work; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville requests the Rice Creek Board of Managers to include the reconstruction of County Ditch 4 from Lydia Avenue through Oasis Pond as part of the Long Lake Chain of Lakes Grant Program. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor: All present and the followed voted against same: None WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
