<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />HELD - t~ay 11, 1981 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of the City of Roseville, met in regular session at the City Hall <br />on Monday, the 11th day of May, 1981, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen <br />Johnson, Kehr and Franke <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Councilman Curley <br /> <br />Councilman Franke <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resol uti on <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7156 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, County Ditch 4 south of Lydia Avenue and portions <br />of Oasis Pond are experiencing or causing erosion problems period- <br />ically over the years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these facilities are in need of reconstruction or <br />modification to improve the situation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi11 e has previ ously requested that <br />this work be included in the Long Lake Chain of Lakes Grant Program; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this improvement was favorably considered previously <br />by the Board and by the Pollution Control Agency staff, but was <br />unable to be undertaken in the program because of funding uncertain- <br />ties; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it now appears that funds have become available to <br />do this work; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville requests <br />the Rice Creek Board of Managers to include the reconstruction of <br />County Ditch 4 from Lydia Avenue through Oasis Pond as part of <br />the Long Lake Chain of Lakes Grant Program. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Member Johnson and upon vote being taken <br />thereon the following voted in favor: All present <br /> <br />and the followed voted against same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
