<br />Extract of Minutes of lieeting <br />of City Council of <br />city of Rosev!lle <br />Ramsey Count::,", Hinnesota <br /> <br />l-!ay 11, 1981 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of the City of Rosevill. met in regular session at the City Hall <br />on Monday, the 11th day of nay, 1981, at: 1:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos and <br />Councilmen Johnson, Kehr7 and Franke <br />and the fOllowing were absent: Councilman Curley <br /> <br />Councilman Kehr introduced the following reso- <br />lution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 7162 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND PROVIDING <br />FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON D!PROVE!1EN'I' NO. P-8l-8 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. By resolution adopted April 21, 1981, the Council has <br />directed the City Public Harks Director to prepare a preliminary <br />report as to the feasibility of a proposed improvement including <br />all that property on Transit Avenue from Cohansey Street to <br />Western Avenue by the installation of bituminous paving, concrete <br />curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances. The Public Works <br />Director was also directed to include in the report the estimated <br />cost of the proposed improvement and as to whether such improve- <br />ment should best be made as proposed or in connection with some <br />other i11q)rovement. The preliminary report and coat. est.imate <br />have been submitted and considered by the Council and are hereby <br />approved and directed to be placed on file in the office of the <br />ei ty ~,tanager. The improvement proposed t.o be made in the <br />general manner set. forth in the report is designat.ed as lq;)rove- <br />ment No. P-81-8. <br /> <br />2. The Council shall meet at the City Hall, 2660 Civic <br />Cent.er Drive, in said Cit.y, on June 1, 1981, at 7:30 0'c1ock p.m. <br />for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed <br />improvement under and pursuant t.o the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429, and the Manaqer is hereby authorized and <br />directed to cause notice of the t.ime, place and purpose of that <br />meeting to be published twice 1n the official newspaper <br />
