Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the City Council of Roseville, Minnesota, Held June 22, 1981 * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Roseville, met in regular session at the City Hall on Monday, June 22, 1981, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Kehr, Curley, Franke and Johnson and the following were absent:N one Councilman Kehr and moved its adoptin: introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 7171 WHEREAS, the Roseville Park and Recreation Board has been formed for the purpose of advising the City Council on matters pertaining to City parks and recreational opportunities, and; WHEREAS, this Board is made up of dedicated volunteers who are concerned with the provision of outstanding services in the City, and; WHEREAS, Jean Weston has served on this Board from March 26, 1979 to June 30, 1981, and has exemplified the level of involvement desired of all citizens; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville on behalf of all the residents of Roseville commends Ms. Weston and hereby recognizes her dedicated service to the community as a member of the Parks and Recreation Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Franke and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All t pres en and the following voted against same: None WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
