<br />-2- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, members of the public have been afforded a reason- <br />able opportunity to be heard; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Rosevi1le as follows: <br /> <br />1. The City of Roseville adopts the RFP and receives <br />the draft preliminary franchise ordinance. <br /> <br />2. The RFP accompanied by a draft of the preliminary <br />franchise ordinance shall be issued by the Commission <br />on behalf of the City of Roseville on or before <br />July 1,1981, and shall be on file in the City Manager's <br />offi ce of th e City of Rosev i 11 e. <br /> <br />3. The City of Roseville hereby delegates to the Commission <br />the responsibility to perform on behalf of the City all <br />tasks incident to the issuance of the RFP as required by <br />the official rules of the Minnesota Cable Communications <br />Board. <br /> <br />4. The City of Rosevil1e hereby delegates to the Commission <br />the responsibility to perform on behalf of the City all <br />tasks incident to the receipt and evaluation of any pro- <br />posals received by the Commission, to culminate in the <br />recommendation to the City by the Commission of a cable <br />company and a final franchise ordinance to be considered <br />by the City in its regular ordinance procedures. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by member Kehr and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: All present <br />and the following voted against same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br />) SS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting <br />Manager of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, do hereby certify that <br />I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes <br />of a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the 22nd <br />day of June, 1981, with the original thereof on file in my office, and <br />the sameis a full, true and complete transcript insofar as the same <br />relates to Request for Proposals for A Cable Communications System for <br />the City of Rosleville. <br /> <br />WITNESS ~1Y HAND as said Manager and the corporate seal of <br />the City this 24th day of June, 1981. <br /> <br />() __1 r <br /> <br />/" YUIII'-oJ I. 1\lIUI '-, v.
