/' EXTRfI.CT OF ~1HlUTES OF ~~EETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, t~IWlESOTA - HELD JULY 13, 1981 * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, ~~innesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 13th day of July, 1981, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Curley, Kehr, Johnson, Franke and the following were absent: None Councilman Curley introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 7187-F WHEREAS, on June 14, 1981, at 4:06 P.M., a tornado struck the City of Roseville leavin0 numerous homes and businesses damaged, trees destroyed and debris scattered throughout the City; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville was in need of personnel and equipment in the aftermath of the tornado to aid in the several operations involving security, traffic control, cleanup, inspection of damaaed homes, distribution of printed information and survey material and general support to citizens of the community; and vlHEREAS, Ramsey County Recreati on Department responded enthusiastically with a willingness to provide timely and much needed assistance, NmJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby commend Ramsey County Recreation Department for their support following the tornado and extends. on behalf of the community, its most heartfelt thanks. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Ramsey County Recreation Department The motion for the adoption of said resolution was seconded by Councilman Kehr and the follovling voted in favor thereof: A 11 present and the following voted aaainst same: None HHERElJPml, said resolution was decl ared duly passed and adopted.
