~ EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, t~INNESOTA - HELD JULY 13,1981 * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, t'1innesota, vias duly held at the City Hall in said City on t10nday, the 13th day of July, 1981, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Curley, Kehr, Johnson, Franke and the following were absent: None Councilman Curley introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 7187-L WHEREAS, on June 14, 1981, at 4:06 P.M., a tornado struck the City of Roseville leavin0 numerous homes and businesses damaged, trees destroyed and debris scattered throughout the City; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville was in need of personnel and equipment in the aftermath of the tornado to aid in the several operations involving security, traffic control, cleanup, inspection of damaged homes, distribution of printed information and survey material and general support to citizens of the community; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Park responded enthusiastically with a willingness to provide timely and much needed assistance, NotJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Ci ty Council of the City of Roseville does hereby commend the City of Brooklyn Park for their support following the tornado and extends, on behalf of the community, its most heartfelt thanks. BE IT FlJRTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be fOrl'Jarded to the City of Brooklyn Park The motion for the adoption of said resolution was seconded by Councilman Kehr and the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted aoainst same: None. \JHERElJPOr1, said resolution \'Jas declared duly passed and adopted.
