City of Roseville <br />Ethics Commission Meeting Minutes <br />June 13, 2007 <br />Call to Order <br />Mike Schneider called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. <br />Members Present <br />Mike Schneider, LuAnne Pederson, Melissa Weldon, David Apolloni. <br />Others Present <br />City Attorney Scott Anderson and City Manager Bill Malinen. <br />Approval of Minutes <br />No changes were made. LuAnne moved for approval of the minutes of May 9, 2007. David <br />seconded the motion. All Aye. <br />1) Trai�wig <br />Suggestions: <br />• Keep an eye towards future training (large or small group). How will we use it? <br />• What else would Council like? <br />• Multiple meetings? <br />• Develop proposal to Council on this outline. Ask Council for input in putting this <br />together. <br />2) Advisory Opinions <br />Explain in training — advisory opinions and/or informal opinions. <br />Members to review memo and outline on Advisory Ethics Opinions and advise orally. <br />3) Complaint Process <br />City Attorney Scott Anderson reviewed the process on who reviews, and if Commission would <br />ever see an employee public official complaint (Department Head or Assistant Department <br />Head). <br />Needs to be more specific <br />4) July Meeting <br />David moved to cancel the July 2007 meeting.
