<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on Monday, <br />January 22, 1996 at:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, Wiski, Wall <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9271 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR TAX <br />INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 16 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City ofRoseville, Minnesota (the "City"), on June 12, 1995 established Tax <br />Increment Financing District No. 16 and approved the Tax Increment Financing Plan relating thereto; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Tax Increment Financing Plan provides that the City is authorized to pay soil <br />contamination cleanup costs ftom tax increments derived ftom Tax Increment Financing District No. <br />16; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to amend the Tax Increment Financing Plan to provide that the <br />City is authorized to expend tax increments ftom Tax Increment Financing District No. 16 to finance <br />soil contamination clean up costs and other soil correction costs in accordance with the MPCA <br />approved development action response plan; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that the Tax Increment Financing Plan <br />for Tax Increment Financing District No. 16 is amended to provide that tax increments derived ftom <br />Tax Increment Financing District No. 16 may be used to pay $1,310,000 of soil contamination clean <br />up costs and other soil correction costs in accordance with the MPCA approved development action <br />response plan. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Mastel, Maschka, <br />Goedeke, Wiski, and Wall and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
