EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on Monday, January 22, 1996 at:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, Wiski, Wall and the following were absent: None. Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9271 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 16 WHEREAS, the City ofRoseville, Minnesota (the "City"), on June 12, 1995 established Tax Increment Financing District No. 16 and approved the Tax Increment Financing Plan relating thereto; WHEREAS, the Tax Increment Financing Plan provides that the City is authorized to pay soil contamination cleanup costs ftom tax increments derived ftom Tax Increment Financing District No. 16; WHEREAS, the City desires to amend the Tax Increment Financing Plan to provide that the City is authorized to expend tax increments ftom Tax Increment Financing District No. 16 to finance soil contamination clean up costs and other soil correction costs in accordance with the MPCA approved development action response plan; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District No. 16 is amended to provide that tax increments derived ftom Tax Increment Financing District No. 16 may be used to pay $1,310,000 of soil contamination clean up costs and other soil correction costs in accordance with the MPCA approved development action response plan. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, Wiski, and Wall and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
