/ EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, t~INtlESOTA - HELD JULY 13,1981 * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Rosevil1e, tfl.innesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on t10nday, the 13th day of July, 1981, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Councilmen Curley, Kehr, Johnson and Franke Mayor Demos, and the following were absent: None introduced and moved the adoption Councilman Curley of the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 7187-Y WHEREAS, on June 14,1981, at 4:06 P.M., a tornado struck the City of Roseville leaving numerous homes and businesses damaged, trees destroyed and debris scattered throughout the City; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville was in need of personnel and equipment in the aftermath of the tornado to aid in the several operations involving security, traffic control, cleanup, inspection of damaged homes, distribution of printed information and survey material and general support to citizens of the community; and ~JHEREAS, the City of North St. Paul responded enthusiastically with a willingness to provide timely and much needed assistance, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby commend the City of North St. Paul for their support following the tornado and extends, on behalf of the community, its most heartfelt thanks. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to the City of North St. Paul The motion for the adoption of said resolution was seconded by Councilman Kehr and the followinC) voted in favor thereof: All present and the followinq voted a9ainst same: None. \JHEREUPotl, said resolution \'ias decl ared duly passed and adopted.
