.1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD JULY 13, 1981 * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, r~innesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 13th day of July, 1981, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Curley, Kehr, Johnson and Franke and the fol10win9 were absent: None Councilman Curley introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 7187-Z WHEREAS, on June 14, 1981, at 4:06 P.M., a tornado struck the City of Rosevi1le 1eavin9 numerous homes and businesses damaged, trees destroyed and debris scattered throughout the City; and WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi11e was in need of personnel and equipment in the aftermath of the tornado to aid in the several operations involving security, traffic control, cleanup, inspection of damaqed homes, distribution of printed information and survey material and general support to citizens of the community; and WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony responded enthusiastically with a willingness to provide timely and much needed assistance, Not-J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Rosevi1le does hereby commend the City of St. Anthony for their support following the tornado and extends, on behalf of the community, its most heartfelt thanks. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a cert ifi ed copy of thi s reso 1 ut i on be fOrYJarded to the City of St. Anthony The motion for the adoption of said resolution was seconded by Councilman Kehr and the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the followin9 voted aoainst same: None.
