<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD JULY 13, 1981 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Rosevi11e, Minnesota, <br />was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, July 13,1981, <br />at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, <br />Councilmen Curley, Kehr, Johnson and Franke <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council member Curley then introduced and moved the <br />adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7188 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau <br />provides valuable counseling and employment services to the youth <br />of the suburban area, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this service is provided for the benefit of <br />citizens of the participating communities who are within the <br />boundaries of Ramsey County and thus for the benefit of Ramsey County <br />citizens, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau <br />depends on contributions from the benefitted area, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi11e has learned that Ramsey <br />County is considering dropping its monetary support of the Northwest <br />Suburban Youth Service Bureau. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />of the City of Rosevi1le does hereby urge the Board of Commissioners <br />of Ramsey County to continue their support of the Northwest Suburban <br />Youth Service Bureau and thus carryon the provision of this val- <br />uable service to the citizens of Ramsey County. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be forwarded <br />to the Board of Commissioners of Ramsey County. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by Council member Kehr and upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor: All t <br />pres en <br /> <br />and the following voted against: None <br />WHEREUPON ,sa id reso1 ut i on was dec1 ared duly passed and <br /> <br />adopted. <br />
