CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> ORDINANCE SUMMARY <br /> NO.1409 <br /> A SUMMARY OF <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br /> • <br /> TITLE 4,ADDING CHAPTER 410 <br /> COAL TAR SEALANTS <br /> The following is the official <br /> summary of Ordinance No. 1409 <br /> approved by the City Council of <br /> Roseville on June 13,2011: <br /> The Roseville City Code is <br /> amended by creating a new chapter, <br /> Chapter 410,regarding a ban on the <br /> use of coal tar based sealants in the <br /> City of Roseville. This is a new <br /> ordinance created to; regulate the <br /> use of coal tar based driveway <br /> sealants to reduce the contribution of <br /> harmful pollutants to storm water <br /> ponds in the city, to protect the <br /> health and safety of its residents, <br /> and to establish legal authority to <br /> carry out actions necessary to <br /> ensure compliance with the <br /> ordinance.
