<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, February 12, 1996, at <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Mastel, Wiski, Maschka, and Wall and the <br />following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9280 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENT P-96-02, NEIGHBORHOOD 37 <br />AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City ofRoseville adopted January 22, 1996, <br />fixed a date for a public hearing on Project P-96-02, Neighborhood 37; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, that <br />in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council <br />held a public hearing on February 12, 1996, to consider the proposed construction ofPr~ject <br />P-96-02, Neighborhood 37, consisting of the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb and <br />gutter, sanitary sewer service repair, drainage facilities, and necessary appurtenances on all that <br />property abutting Transit Avenue from Dale Street to cul-de-sac as described in the Notice of <br />Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $82,153 and substantially in accordance with the <br />preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the City <br />Manager; at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, <br />and having considered the views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby determine and <br />order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed and that all streets be constructed <br />substantially as recommended in the feasibility report and that the City Public Works Director <br />investigate the following issues: (1) expansion of the project to include repairs to existing storm <br />water ditch located on the Central Park School property and (2) change of street widths to save <br />boulevard trees. The City Public Works Director is designated as the Engineer for the project and <br />is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final plans and specifications for the <br />improvement. <br />
