EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD ON DECEMBER 14, 1981 ****************************************************************************** Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 14th day of December, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Johnson, Franke, Kellr, Curley, and Demos. The following members were absent: None. Member Curley introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 7283 RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not a certain street in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and WHEREAS, it appears that by reason of changes in the use of the surrounding land, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said street; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: The City Council of the City of Roseville hereby vacates the public street, but retaining certain easements, over the property described as follows: That Part Of Laurie Road Lying North Of Lot 1, Block 1, And Lying North Of Lot 1, Block 3 As Platted In Westmoor Addition In Section 9, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota. The Council Retains An Easement Over The Above To Maintain And/Or Reconstruct Utility Mains As Needed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Kehr, and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor of the resolution: All present. The following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON, the said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
