<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, <br />HELD ON DECEMBER 14, 1981 <br /> <br />****************************************************************************** <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the <br />City Hall in said City on the 14th day of December, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Johnson, Franke, Kellr, Curley, and <br />Demos. The following members were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Curley introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7283 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF <br />A PUBLIC STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the City Council <br />held a public hearing to determine whether or not a certain street in the <br />City of Roseville should be vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that by reason of changes in the use of the surrounding <br />land, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said street; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville hereby vacates the public street, <br />but retaining certain easements, over the property described as follows: <br /> <br />That Part Of Laurie Road Lying North Of Lot 1, Block 1, And Lying <br />North Of Lot 1, Block 3 As Platted In Westmoor Addition In Section <br />9, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />The Council Retains An Easement Over The Above To Maintain And/Or <br />Reconstruct Utility Mains As Needed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Member Kehr, and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor of <br />the resolution: All present. The following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, the said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
