<br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting <br />of City Council <br />City of Roseville <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />February 8, 1982 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of the City of Roseville met in regular session at the City Hall <br />on Monday, the 8th day of February, 1982, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos and <br />Councilmen Curley, Kehr, Franke and Johnson; and the following <br />were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilman Franke introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />",,...--, \ <br />/' . <br />Resolution No. Q}l?,; <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND PROVIDING <br />FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVE~mNT NO. W-P-80-3l <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. By resolution adopted september 8, 1980, the Council <br />has directed the City Public fvorks Director to prepare a prelimi- <br />nary report as to the feasibility of a proposed improvement in- <br />cluding all that property abutting Transit Avenue from victoria <br />Street to Brooks Avenue and all that property abutting Brooks <br />Avenue from Transit Avenue to Lexington Avenue by the installa- <br />tion of bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, water <br />service and necessary appurtenances. The Public Works Director <br />was also directed to include in the report the estimated cost <br />of the proposed improvement and as to whether such improvement <br />should best be made as proposed or in connection with some <br />other improvement. The preliminary report and cost estimate <br />have been submitted and considered by the Council and are here- <br />by approved and directed to be placed on file in the office of <br />the City Manager. The improvement proposed to be made in the <br />general manner set forth in the report is designated as Improve- <br />ment No. W-P-80-3l. <br /> <br />2. The Council shall meet at the City Hall, 2660 Civic <br />Center Drive, in said City, on March 8, 1982, at 7:30 o'clock <br />p.m. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed <br />improvement under and pursuant to tile provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429, and the Manager is hereby authorized and <br />directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of that <br />meeting to be published twice in the official newspaper, Rose- <br />ville Sun, which publications shall be a week apart, and the <br />
