<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD ~~y 24, 1982 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council <br />of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in <br />said City on the 24th day of May, 1982, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Franke, Curley, Kehr, Johnson and Demos. <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Kehr <br /> <br />introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7354 <br /> <br />RICE STREET WIDENING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota has <br />prepared: plans, special provisions, and specifications for the improvement of <br />Trunk Highway 126, renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 49, within the corporate <br />limits of the City of Roseville, from Dumont Avenue to No. Corp. limits; and <br />seeks the approval thereof: <br /> <br />NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED, that said plans and special provlslons for the <br />improvement of said Trunk Highway within said corporate limits of the City, be and <br />hereby are approved, including the elevations and grades as shown and consent is <br />hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by said construction. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City does hereby agree to require the parking <br />of all vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the corporate limits of said <br />City, on said Trunk Highway, to be parallel with the curb adjacent to the highway, <br />and at least 20 feet from any crosswalks on all public streets intersecting said <br />trunk highway. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded <br />by member Johnson , and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor <br />of the Resolution: All present. The following voted against the <br />same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
