<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, <br />Minnesota, on Monday, the 8th day of April, 1996, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wi ski, Goedeke, Mastel and Wall and the following were <br />absent: Maschka. <br /> <br />Member Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9291 <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING THE WEST FRONTAGE ROAD OF <br />SNELLING AVENUE ABUTTING 2845 SNELLING AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the City Council held a public hearing to <br />determine whether or not a portion of said street in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that by reason of changes in the use of the surrounding land, it would be <br />beneficial to the public interest to vacate a portion of said street; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, <br />hereby vacates that part of the West 27.0 feet of the East 102.0 feet of the Southeast quarter <br />of Section 4, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, which lies South of a line <br />402.0 feet South of and parallel to the East-West quarter line of said Section 4 and which lies <br />North of and parallel to the South line of Lot 1, Block 1, Slawik Park No.2 and its easterly <br />extension, all of which lies Westerly of the following described line: From the East quarter <br />corner of said Section 4, run Westerly along the East and West quarter line thereof on an <br />azimuth of 268 degrees 48 minutes 07 seconds for 75.0 feet to the point of beginning of the line <br />to be described; thence on an azimuth of 178 degrees 41 minutes 56 seconds parallel to the East <br />line of said Section 4 for a distance of 761.83 feet; thence deflect to the right on a tangential <br />curve having a radius of 5745.47 feet and a delta angle of 5 degrees 33 minutes 25 seconds for <br />557.24 feet; thence on an azimuth of 178 degrees 41 minutes 56 seconds for 141.75 feet and <br />there terminating. And the North 376.46 feet of Outlot C, Slawik Park; subject to a 20.0 foot <br />Light Rail and Utility easement over said West 27.0 feet. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mastel and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel and Wall and the <br />following voted against same: None <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
