EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the twenty-second day of April, 1996, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Wi ski, Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel and Wall and the following members were absent: None. Councilmember Wall introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONS NO. 9294 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1996 CONTRACT A Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Wednesday, April 17, 1996, at 11 :00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: - BIDDER AMOUNT T. A. Schifsky and Sons Central Landscaping Tower Asphalt, Inc. Valley Paving, Inc. Ashbach Construction Co. Midwest Asphalt Corporation $1,239,412.54 $1,265,348.82 $1,272,117.05 $1,294,750.61 $1,298,157.11 $1,562,735.23 WHEREAS, it appears that T. A. Schifsky and Sons, Inc. of North St. Paul, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of$I,239,412.54; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rose vi lie, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with T. A. Schifsky and Sons, Inc. for $1,239,412.54 in the name of the City of Rose vi lie for thE: above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
