<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 334 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE BY ADDING CHAPTER 172 lNVOL VING THE <br /> <br />RESTRICTIONS OF SALES AND OF WORK ON THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE <br /> <br />WEEK. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The Village Code of the Village of Roseville is hereby amended <br /> <br />by adding Chapter 172 to read as follows: <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />172. "SUNDAY CLOSINGIf <br /> <br />172.010. Definition of Persons. "Persons" as used in this <br /> <br />Ordinance shall mean any individual~ partnership, corporation, association, <br /> <br />or other group however organized, corporation directors and officers, and <br /> <br />the manager of the place where the violation occurs. <br /> <br />172.020. Certain Sales Prohibited on Sunday. On the first day <br /> <br />of the week, commonly known and designated as Sunday, and on New Year's <br /> <br />day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and <br /> <br />Christmas Day, it shall be unlawful for any persons to attempt to sell or en- <br /> <br />gage in the business of selling any of the following items: clothing and wearing <br /> <br />apparel, clothing accessories, footwear, furniture, furs.. housewares, house- <br /> <br />hold, business or office furnishings and appliances, hardware, tools, paints.. <br />
