EN HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO.2011-003 <br /> A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE INDIAN OAKS COURT POND MAINTENANCE <br /> PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement of the Indian <br /> Oaks Court Pond Maintenance Project, bids were received on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at <br /> 10:00 a.m., opened, and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids were received <br /> complying with the advertisement: <br /> BIDDER JAMOUNT <br /> Belair Excavating $ 18,713.00 <br /> Arnt Construction $ 22,975.00 <br /> Rachel Contracting $ 28,750.00 <br /> Penn Contracting $ 31,550.00 <br /> North Valley $ 33,767.23 <br /> Carl Bolander& Sons $ 48,460.00 <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Belair Excavating of New Brighton, Minnesota is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of$18,713.00; <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br /> HILLS,MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with Belair Excavating of New Brighton, Minnesota, for $18,713.00 in the name <br /> of the City of Arden Hills for the above improvements according to the plans and <br /> specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of <br /> the City Administrator. <br /> 2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all <br /> bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder <br /> and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br />
