CITY OF ARDEN HILLS COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2017-017 A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 0.5 MG WATER TOWER REHABILITATIION PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisements for bids for the rehabilitation of the 0.5 MG water tower project, bids were received on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., opened, and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Bidder Base Bid 2017 Completion) Alt. Bid 2018 Completion) Osseo Construction Co., LLC $568,800.00 $519,800.00 Classic Protective Coatings, Inc. $647,950.00 $687,950.00 Champion Coatings $719,950.00 $691,850.00 Maguire Iron, Inc. $745,550.00 $696,550.00 TMI Coatings, Inc. $817,884.00 $809,884.00 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Osseo Construction Co., LLC, of Osseo, Wisconsin is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated bid price of $568,800 (Base Bid) and $519,800 (Bid Alternate); NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Osseo Construction, Co., LLC, of Osseo, Wisconsin for the Bid Alternate, as recommended by the City Engineer, for $519,800.00 in the name of the City of Arden Hills for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator. 2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
