tA.- <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 202I.011 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY <br />REPORT FOR THE LEXINGTON AVENUE IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Program for the City of Arden Hills identifies <br />potential street and utility improvements for Lexington Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed improvements to Lexington Avenue include the installation of <br />a new traffic control signal system at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and Target Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed traffic signal at Target Road would provide access <br />improvements to the Lexington Station development site located in the southwest quadrant of <br />Lexington Avenue and Red Fox Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the Master Planned Unit Development Agreement for Lexington Station <br />specifies that the developer of the Lexington Station site will be required to pay for or accept an <br />assessment against the property for the cost of access improvements to Lexington Avenue. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS: <br />That the proposed Target Road traffic signal and associated access improvements stated above <br />shall be referred to as the Lexington Avenue Traffic Signal at Target Road for study and that the <br />City Engineer is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council <br />in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and <br />feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other <br />improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br />PASSBD AND ADOPTED BY THB CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDBN HILLS <br />THIS 22'd DAY OF FEBRUARY 202I. <br />Mayor <br />Attest: <br />City Clerk <br />To view the final document, access adopted Resolutions via Arden Hills Public Laserfiche llteblink by visiting cityofardenhills.org <br />and clicking on Archived Documents under Helpful Linl<s on our main webpage. <br />t <br />I
