<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Approved: May 10, 2021 <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 26, 2021 <br />7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the regular <br />City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Note: On March 20th, 2020 the Mayor signed a determination allowing Councilmembers to <br />participate in City Council meetings via telephone pursuant to State Statute 13D.021 <br /> <br />Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, and <br />Steve Scott <br /> <br /> Absent: Councilmember Dave McClung (Excused) <br /> <br /> Also present: City Administrator Dave Perrault; Interim Public Works Director David <br />Swearingen; Finance Director Gayle Bauman; City Attorney Joel Jamnik; and City Clerk <br />Julie Hanson <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to approve the meeting agenda as presented. A roll call vote was <br />taken. The motion carried (4-0). <br /> <br />2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> <br />Chad Wakabayashi, 3182 Cleveland Avenue North, explained he had an issue with a water bill <br />he received for the first quarter of 2021. He reported in the fourth quarter of 2020 there was a <br />problem with the transmitter and the City was not receiving accurate information about the water <br />usage. He commented this meant water usage was being estimated which led to a $3,000 water <br />bill. He stated it was his understanding there was no leak or continuous usage situation on the <br />property and requested the City forgive the overage. He noted the average water bill per quarter <br />ranged from $250 to $300. He recommended the estimated bill be based on historical averages <br />and not continuous use. <br />
