<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. /$-40 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REDUCING SANITARY SEWER <br />RATES AND WAIVING MINIMUM WATER ,CHAR- <br />GES FOR CERTAIN SENIOR AND DISABLED <br />CITIZENS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council, at its general meeting <br />held on~~,S/,1972, by a motion duly made, seconded, and <br />passed,~did~~solve to reduce the charges for usage of the <br />Village sanitary sewer system and to waive the minimum char- <br />ges for usage of the Village water system (as required in <br />Ord. No. 103) where such charges are imposed upon property <br />owned or occupied by those of its citizens who are 65 years <br />of age or older or who are totally disabled within the mean- <br />ing of Social Security regulations, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council, at its general meeting <br />held on December 11, 1972, did pass two ordinances--Ord. No. <br />165 and Ord. No. l66--pertinent provisions of which made it <br />permissible for the Council to effectuate the aforesaid re- <br />duction and waiver by means of a Resolution, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council now desires to ratify and <br />confirm its action at its general meeting on~S~ 1972 <br />and formally to implement said reduction an~waiv~r of charges <br />in accordance with the pertinent provisions of Ord. No. 165 <br />and Ord. No. 166, ' <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the <br />Village of Arden Hills that: <br /> <br />~l. The action taken by it at its general meeting held <br />on ,c ~ 1972 be and the same hereby is in all respects <br />ap roVed, ratified, and confirmed; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2. Retroactively effective as of January 1, 1973, char- <br />ges ~~~~~e of the Village's sanitary sewer system and water <br />syste~ property,', " ~'_ . .
