<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />Resolution No. 82-23 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REVISING WATER UTILITY RATES <br />EFFECTIVE APRIL I, 1982 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, St. Paul rates to supply water have risen <br />more than 20% over the past two years, while City water utility <br />rate increases have been held to 7%, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, St. Paul rates for 1982 have been increased <br />by 9%, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the <br />water utility rate structure and has recommended that the Council <br />increase water rates since it's impossible to keep absorbing the <br />St. Paul increases, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that effective April 1, <br />1982 the water utility rates be revised as follows: <br /> <br />Water rates will be increased from 72C to 87C/l,OOO gallons. <br />Quarterly minimum charges will be adjusted as follows: <br /> <br />Old Quarterly New Quarterly <br />Meter Size Minimum Charge Minimum Charge <br />5/8 inch $ 8.90 $ 9.90 <br />1 17.80 19.90 <br />1~ 35.60 39.90 <br />2 53.35 59.90 <br />3 106.75 119.60 <br />4 160.10 179.30 <br />6 266.85 298.90 <br />8 533.75 597.80 <br />10 800.60 896.70 <br />12 1067.45 1195.60 <br />The Standby and Fire Line rates will not be increased. <br />The City will continue its policy of having no minimum <br />charge for senior and totally disabled citizens. <br /> <br />Passed by the Arden Hills City Council this 12th day <br />of April 1982. <br /> <br />{~~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />.
