CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> NOVEMBER 8, 1999 <br /> 7:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dennis Probst called to order the regular <br /> City Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. <br /> Present: Mayor Dennis Probst, Council members Beverly Aplikowski, Gregg <br /> Larson, Paul Malone, and Lois Rem. <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also present were Interim City Administrator, Terrance Post; Public Works Director, <br /> Dwayne Stafford; Associate Planner, Nancy Randall; and City Engineer, Greg Brown, <br /> BRW; and Recording Secretary, Lori Rolfson. <br /> ADOPT AGENDA <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Rem seconded a motion <br /> . to adopt the agenda for the November 8, 1999, regular City Council meeting. The <br /> motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> INTRODUCTION OF CITY ADMINISTRATOR, JOSEPH P. LYNCH <br /> Mayor Probst introduced Mr. Lynch and welcomed him to the City of Arden Hills. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> A. October 25, 1999 Regular Council Meeting <br /> Mr. Post requested the following change to the minutes: On page 12, first line, the word <br /> "residence" should be changed to "lot line." <br /> Councilmember Larson requested the following changes: On page II, third paragraph from the <br /> bottom, the last sentence should read, "...the facts for findings go not relate..." On page 18, fifth <br /> paragraph, the second sentence should read, "... the parking lot is asphalt and these squares..." <br /> With regard to page 18, third paragraph from the bottom, Councilmember Aplikowski was not <br /> sure that she had made this statement or, if she had, that the statement was not recorded correctly. <br /> She requested that the first line in this paragraph be changed to read, "...with metal slats..." <br /> . Additionally, on page 20, the fourth line ofthe first motion should be changed to read, "...with <br /> slats painted to match...", removing the word "wood." <br /> ------ <br />
