Crepeau, Jr. at 8:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Crepeau welcomed Senator John Milton who had met with his Arden Hills constituents <br />prior to the Council meeting. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr., CounCilmen Charles Crichton, William <br />Feyereisen, James Wingert. <br /> <br />Absent: Councilman Stan Olmen. <br /> <br />Also Present: Engineer Donald Lund, Parks Director John Buckley, Clerk Administrator <br />Charlotte McNi~sh, Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />The minutes of the Special Council Meeting of July 22, 1974, were approved as amended. <br /> <br />Feyereisen suggested that copies of Council Meeting minutes be available at Council <br />meetings so those in attendance may follow Council's actions; Council concurred. <br /> <br />BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> <br />Liquor License Applications - Ramada Inn - McGuire's <br /> <br />Mr. Cass explained that there is a change incorporate structure; therefore, new <br />liquor license applications are being submitted for Council approval; licenses to be <br />effective August 1, 1974. <br /> <br />After discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that the Council approve the <br />issuance of On-Sale, On-Sale Sunday and Off-Sale Liquor Licenses for Ramada Inn- <br />McGuire's, subject to approval of applications and bonds by Village Attorney. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY JAMES LYNDEN <br />(Absent - no report) <br /> <br />REPcmT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />Lexington Avenue Drainage Plans <br /> <br />Lund submitted copies of the Lexington Avenue Drainage Study for Council consideration; <br />study includes alternate plans which were briefly described by Lund, advising that <br />estimated costs of land or eas~nts are not included, only engineering and construction. <br />Council requested McNiesh to send copy of report to Shoreview for their input. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Nursery Hill Utilities and Street Plans <br /> <br />Lund submitted plans for the construction of utilities and street in the Nursery Hill <br />Plat and recommended th~t. the Village advertise for bids as soon as possible; advising <br />specifications will be ready in a few days. After discussion, plans and specifications <br />were referred to the Public Works Committee for review and recommendations to the <br />Council at the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />j <br /> <br />Eide Circle Performance Bond <br /> <br />- <br />Ii <br />" <br />! <br /> <br />Lund reported that some street settlement repairs in the Eide Terrace Plat are pending <br />completion; last fall repairs were delayed pending current house construction completion <br />" in Eide Terrace. <br /> <br />Lund recommended that the Village approve a reduction in the performance bond to $1,000, <br />covering the remaining work. <br />
