Also present: Plarmer John Bergly, <br />Treasurer Frank Green, Park Director John Buckley, Public Works SUperintendent <br />Dan Winkel, Clerk Administrator Gary Berger and Deputy Clerk Catherine Iago. <br /> <br />CALL 'IO ORDER <br /> <br />CWSED SESSION; <br />IABOR NEXDI'IATIONS <br /> <br />Council discussed the proposed 1991 labor Contract <br />between 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />PERFORMANCE E.VAL; <br />PARK DIR. BUU<LEY <br /> <br />Cotmcil held an annual perfonnance evaluation for Park <br />Director John Buckley between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />AOOPl' AGENDA <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Malone, to adopt the January 14 <br />Agenda as suJ:xnitted. Motion ca=ied unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />APPROVE Councilmember Malone recalled the discussion relatin;J to <br />MINUI'ES repealin;J Section 20-22, of Ordinance 276, 1tIhich was <br />adopted at the January 2 Cotmcil Meetin;J. He stated the <br />motion on page 3 of the minutes included an amendment to repeal of Section 20-22, <br />of Ordinance 276, 1tIhich established a quorum. He questioned if the Ordinance was <br />published with the section listed as repealed. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Deputy Clerk Iago advised the revision was included in the published dOClnllellt. <br /> <br />Malone moved, seconded by Growe, to approve the January 2 <br />Council minutes, as amended on page 3, relatin;J to Ordinance 276, to include an <br />amendment repealin;J Section 20-22. Motion ca=ied unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />CONSENT <br />CALEl'IDAR <br /> <br />Malone moved, seconded by Growe, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar and authorize execution of all necessary <br />dOClllllE!llts contained therein: <br /> <br />a. Authorization to Enforce Tenq:lorary Sign Permits on Weekends. <br />b. Approval of List of Claims and Payroll. <br /> <br />Motion ca=ied unanimously. JOHANNA <br />BLVD., LILIA <br /> <br />Cotmcil was referred to Planner Bergly's report and the <br />Planning minutes dated 1-9-90, relatin;J to Case #90-15, <br />Front Yard Setback Variance, 3294 Lake Johanna Blvd., <br />Duane and Margaret Lilla. <br /> <br />'Ihe Planner reviewed the items for consideration in relation to this request and <br />the findings of fact relatin;J to identification of a hardship due to topography <br />and unusual lot configuration. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Bergly explained the applicant is requestin;J a 10 ft. setback variance to <br />accammodate a three-car garage on the lot. He advised the Planning Conunission <br />recammended approval of a 5 ft. setback variance, 1tIhich would be aCCOllplished by <br />reducing the size of the proposed garage to 34 ft. x 22 ft. and slightly <br />adjustin;J the location of the proposed home on the site. <br />
