IS AMENDED TO ARDEN HILLS ORDINANCE 291 TO READ AS FOLLOWS: Section 6.C.2.d Covered Front Porches for Sinl!le-Familv Detached Dwellinl!s. In required front yard setback and side yard corner setbacks in thc R-l: Single Family Residential and R-2: Single & Two Family Residential Districts, covered front porches ("Covered Porch") may extend into the required front yard setback and side yard comer setback subject to the . rcquirements in this section. 1. For already developed lots on which a principal structure existed prior to May I, 2006, the Covered Porch shall not be closer to the front lot line and side yard corner as determined by the following provisions: (a) The Covered Porch shall be set back from the front lot line and side yard corner at least the nurnbcr of feet calculated by the following formula: Current principal strncture setback in feel multiplied by .75 = Covered Porch setback from the front lot line and side yard comer in feet (For example, if the principal structure is 32 feet from the front lot line, thcn: 32 feet * .75 = 24 foot setback from the front lot line and side yard corner for the Covered Porch.
