<br /> . ,. . <br /> . <br /> City of Ard~n Hills Ordinance #346 Extending the Development of Moratorium <br /> . <br /> . ~ <br /> ~~HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 346 <br /> AN INTERIM ORDINANCE EXTENDING <br /> THE DEVELOPMENT MORATORIUM RELATING TO THE <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF BOATHOUSES WITHIN THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> THE ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL ORDAINS: <br /> 1.0 Recitals. <br /> A. On the 12th day of August, 2002 the Arden Hills City Council adopted <br /> Ordinance No. 341, which implemented a development moratorium <br /> relating to the construction of hoathouses and which will expire on the <br /> 16th day of October, 2003. <br /> . B. The City of Arden Hills is in the process of revising its Zoning and <br /> Shoreland Regulations. <br /> C. Additional time will be required in order to coordinate the proposed <br /> changes to boathouse regulations with the proposed changes to the <br /> Zoning and Shoreland Regulations. <br /> D. In order to protect the integrity of its eomprehensive plan, the planning <br /> process, and the health, safety and welfare ofthe citizens ofthe City of <br /> Arden Hills, the City Council has determined that the development <br /> moratorium relating to the construction of boathouses needs to be <br /> extended. <br /> 2.0 Development Moratorium. No boathouse shall be constructed, nor shall <br /> alterations be made to existing boathouses during the term of the <br /> moratorium. <br /> 3.0 Duration of Moratorium. The development moratorium originally adopted <br /> by Ordinance No. 341 shall be extended for six (6) months commencing on <br /> October 15, 2003 and terminating on April 15, 2004. <br /> 4.0 Enforcement. The City may enforce any provision of this ordinance by <br /> . mandamus, injunction or any other appropriate civil remedy in any court of <br /> competent jurisdiction. <br /> #346 - I <br />
