<br /> - <br /> . <br /> MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br /> Village of Arden Hills <br /> Monday, September 30, 1985, 7:30 p.m. <br /> Village Hall <br /> Call to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Woodburn called the meeting to <br /> order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Present: Mayor Robert Woodburn, Councilmembers Nancy Hansen, Gary Peck, <br /> Thomas Sather (7:35 p.m.) <br /> Absent: Councilmember Dale Hicks <br /> Also Present:. Attorney James Lynden, Engineer Donald Christoffersen, Public <br /> Works Supervisor Robert Raddatz, Cable Committee Chairman <br /> William Bauer (9:00 p.m.) Clerk-Administrator Charlotte McNiesh, <br />. Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Peck moved, seconded by Hansen, that the minutes of the September 9, September <br /> 12, and September 19 Council meetings be approved as submitted. Motion car- <br /> ried unanimously. (3-0) <br /> Business from the Floor <br /> None. <br /> Shoreview/Arden Hills Jaycees' Donation <br /> Tom Sued beck and Evelyn Johnson, representing the Shoreview/Arden Hills Jaycees, <br /> presented a check in the amount of $100.00 to Mayor Woodburn for the Arden Hills <br /> Parks and Recreation Department. The donation is the result of the Jaycees' <br /> participation in the Fall Festival. <br /> Woodburn accepted the check, on behalf of the Parks Department, thanked the <br /> Jaycees for its donation, and advised that they will be informed of the Park <br /> Department's use of the money. <br /> (Sather arrived at the meeting.) <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY JAMES LYNDEN <br /> Ordinance No. 237 - Shore land Mana~ement - Final Readin~ <br /> Lynden referred Council to amended draft of Ordinance No. 237, recommending <br /> its adoption. <br /> Sather moved, seconded by Peck, that Council waive the final reading. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> Hansen moved, seconded by Peck, that Council adopt Resolution No. 237, AN <br /> ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SUBDIVISION, USE AND DEVELOPMENT OF SHORELANDS AND <br /> THE UTILIZATION OF THE PUBLIC WATERS ON WHICH THEY ABUT, AND IMPOSING PENALTIES <br /> FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> (Not to be published until written approval by DNR,) <br /> Case No. 85-7, Special Use Permit for Fill <br /> (George and Phyllis Bona) <br /> Council was referred to draft of Special Use Permit - Case No. 85-7, specify- <br /> ing special conditions which are to be completed by the permittees. <br />. Hansen moved, seconded by Peck, that Council approve Special Use Permit - Case <br /> No. 85-7, as drafted, and authorize execution thereof by the Clerk-Administrator. <br /> Mot ion carried unanimously.. (4- 0) <br /> Case No. 85-10. Hunter's Park - Second Amendment to Special Use Permit <br /> Council was referred to Lynden's letter of 9/30/85 and attached draft of <br /> Second Amendment to Special Use Permit -- Case No. 73-28. <br /> Lynden reviewed the amendments to the Hunter's Park Special Use Permit which <br /> applies to the first, second and fourth additions of Hunter's Park which specifies <br />
