CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OR RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 315 <br /> A SUMMARY <br /> AN ORDINANCE SUMMARY ADDING A NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT <br /> TO THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> THE ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL ORDAINS THAT APPENDIX A AND ITS <br /> SUBDIVISIONS IS HEREBY ADDED TO THE ARDEN HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE TO <br /> READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Adding the following to: <br /> Section V, D, PURPOSE OF DISTRICTS. <br /> All other sections will he renumbered to allow for the inclusion of this section. <br /> 5. NB Neighborhood Business District <br /> . a. To be located at the edge of residential neighborhoods <br /> b. To provide a limited range of over-the-counter, convenience, retail, and service <br /> uses to accommodate the needs of the adjacent residents <br /> c. To place limitations on the type, size and intensity of uses within this district, <br /> given its proximity to residential uses <br /> d. To place emphasis on convenience for pedestrian, bicycle, and public <br /> transportation access to the use <br /> e. To accommodate, where possible, a public commons giving residents a place to <br /> gather and interact with one another <br /> f. To ensure adequate buffering is provided on these sites for the adjacent residential <br /> uses <br /> g. To require, where applicable, compliance with the City's gateway requirements <br /> Adding a Neighborhood Business column to: <br /> Section 5, E. LAND USE CHART with the following. <br /> Permitted Uses; Clinic, Daycare Facility over 10, Financial Institution & Service, Office, Retail <br /> Sales & Service, and Utility Distribution Line. <br /> Special Use Permit; Pick Up Station, Self Service Laundry, Land Reclamation, Mining, Multiple <br /> Use Operation, Personal Service, Public Use Research, Restaurant, Studio, and Utility <br /> Transmission. <br /> . Accessory Use; Daycare facility 10 or less, Special Accessory uses; antenna, dish or tower <br />
