COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 292 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO USE OF SIGNS. <br /> The Arden Hills City Council ordains that Appendix D is hereby <br /> added to the Arden Hills Municipal Code. <br /> Appendix D shall consists of Sections I through IX, including <br /> their respective subdivisions, as contained in the Sign Ordinance <br /> Draft prepared by Sanders, Wacker, Wehrman and Bergley, Inc., dated <br /> March 8, 1993, subject to the following amendments: <br /> l. Redacting for typographical, numbering and/or reference <br /> errors which changes can be made by administrative staff <br /> prior to final printing. <br /> 2. Adding Section V.E.(ll) to read: <br /> Banners, Pennants, Ribbons, Streamers, Strings of Light <br /> Bulbs, except as special event signs as allowed by <br /> Council approval. <br /> . 3. Amend Section IX.I.(3)c. and its subdivisions to read: <br /> c. Certain temporary signs require annual application <br /> and an annual fee. <br /> 1. An annual (12 months from permit date) special <br /> event sign permit shall be required for each <br /> schOOl, church, civic organization, or <br /> commercial establishment proposing to utilize <br /> such signs. The annual permit and fee shall <br /> be valid for up to three special events <br /> permitted within 12 months of the permit for <br /> each organization or establishment. <br /> 2. Fees for community promotion signs are hereby <br /> waived. <br /> The Arden Hills City Council ordains that Chapter 21 of the <br /> Arden Hills Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br /> Effective Date. Ordinance No. 292 shall become effective on the <br /> day fOllowing publication of the Ordinance or an approved Ordinance <br /> Summary. <br /> . <br />
