<br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> . COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 288 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A CITYWIDE DEVELOPMENT MORATORIUM. <br /> The Arden Hills City Council ordains that Section XIV(B) is hereby <br /> added to Appendix A of the Arden Hills City Code to read as <br /> follows: <br /> Section B. Citywide Development Moratorium <br /> l. The City of Arden Hills is conducting studies and will <br /> hold public hearings for the purpose of considering <br /> comprehensive amendments to its zoning regulations. <br /> 2. Pending the completion of public hearings and the <br /> adoption of amendments to its zoning regulations, the <br /> Arden Hills City Council has determined that it would be <br /> in the public's interest to impose a Development <br /> Moratorium on all property within the City of Arden <br /> Hills. <br /> 3. There is hereby imposed a Development Moratorium pursuant <br /> . to the revisions of MS 462.355, Subd. 4, on all property <br /> within the City of Arden Hills. During the period of the <br /> Moratorium, the development of property shall be <br /> restricted as follows: <br /> a. property shall not be subdivided. <br /> b. new structures shall not be constructed on <br /> property. <br /> c. building additions to existing structures and <br /> expansions of existing uses on property shall not <br /> be allowed unless the addition or expansion is in <br /> compliance with the proposed amendments to the <br /> City's zoning regulations as determined by the City <br /> Council. <br /> d. a construction activity within an existing <br /> structure, which would not otherwise require City <br /> Council review, will be allowed provided that such <br /> improvements are undertaken in compliance with the <br /> current zoning regulations and the proposed <br /> amendments thereto. <br /> 4. The Development Moratorium shall commence on the day <br /> . following the publication of this Ordinance and shall <br /> 1 <br />
