<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-20 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF PLANNING FOR <br />FUTURE WATER TOWER ANTENNA AND GROUND LEASES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has accepted and approved applications for the installation <br />of telecommunication antennas and related ground structures on the north and south water towers <br />in Arden Hills; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has seen an increase in the number and frequency of these <br />applications for co-location on the water towers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is currently no master plan for the water tower sites that defines the <br />maximum number of antenna and related ground structures that each parcel of property can <br />support, from a zoning code compliance standpoint; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills wishes to protect the planning process and allow for the <br />development of a master site plan for each of the City's water tower sites. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota that: <br /> <br />I. City staff is directed to not accept any new applications for co-location of <br />telecommunication antenna and related ground structures on the north and south <br />water towers in Arden Hills until the City can complete a study of both sites to <br />determine a master plan that guides the City on the maximum number of vendors <br />and the proper layout for the related ground structures at each site, <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 8th DAY OF MAY, 2000. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />P -I P.
