<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />Resolution No. 84-23 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNCIL <br />MEMBER TO FILL COUNCIL VACANCY <br />UNTIL NOVEMBER SPECIAL ELECTION <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 9th, the City Council accepted <br />Councilman Michael Christiansen's resignation effective August 1st, <br />and declared that a vacancy exists on the Council until a successor <br />is elected and qualified at the Special Election to be held on <br />November 6, 1984, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council accepted applications for appoint- <br />ment as Councilman until August 8th and eight applications were <br />received, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council concurred that a ranking of the <br />applicants on a 1-5 point basis would be appropriate, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS Nancy Hansen received the most points, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />hereby appoints Nancy Hansen Council Member until the Special <br />Election on November 6, 1984. <br /> <br />Passed by the Arden Hills Council this 20th day of <br />August, 1984. <br /> <br />~~~ <br />Robert L.
