<br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88-17 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION (1) APPROVING THE FIRE PROTECTION AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS AND THE LAKE JOHANNA <br />VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC. AND (2) AUTHORIZING MAYOR <br />AND CLERK-ADMINISTRATOR TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department (the "Fire <br />Department") has provided fire protection services on a contractual basis <br />to the City of Arden Hills (the "City") for many years, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, negotiators for the Fire Department and the City--for <br />many months prior to the date hereof--have been negotiating specific <br />contractual details as to their relationship with one another henceforth <br />which are now embodied in the Fire Protection Agreement (the "Agreement"), <br />a copy of which is appended hereto, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the City and its <br />citizens for the City Council to approve the Agreement, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City that the Agreement be approved in all respects and the Mayor and <br />Clerk-Administrator be authorized and directed to execute the same on <br />behalf of the City. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk-Administrator of the City <br />be authorized and directed to furnish a certified copy of this Resolution <br />to the Fire Department along with an executed copy or original of the <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Passed by the City Council of the City this 27th day of June, <br /> <br />1988. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />W~fitll(j2~ <br /> <br />Charlotte McNiesh, <br />Acting Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br />~/'J <br /> <br />J(,(.,tf:/<~;y'~7Z., ,'".'E',A,[."., <br />/ <br />Robert Woodburn, Mayor <br /> <br />. <br />
