<br />
<br />RESOLUTION ELIMINATING INTEREST ON PREPAID ASSESSMENT
<br />(GLENHILL RD, P-ST-87-1; JOHN SHELENDICH, PIN 34-30-23-34-0017)
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council, on August 31, 1987,
<br />approved and adopted the assessment roll for the improvement of Glenhill
<br />(known as Improvement No. P-ST-87-1); and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Notice of Assessment Hearing, as mailed to
<br />affected property owners on August 20, 1987, and published on August 19,
<br />1987, indicated no interest would be charged on assessments paid in full
<br />prior to November 15, 1987; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County, in accordance with past practice,
<br />certified assessments, with interest added, after thirty (30) days from
<br />adoption of the assessment roll;
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Arden
<br />
<br />Hills, MN:
<br />
<br />(1) It has been determined that John Shelendich, 1459
<br />Glenhill Road, on 9/29/87 paid a portion of his assessment, i.e. $1,600 of
<br />the total of $3,141,32, and attempted to pay, to Ramsey County, on
<br />11/10/87, the balance of the assessment, in the amount of $1,541.32, prior
<br />to the November 15, 1987 cut-off in accordance with the Notice of
<br />Assessment Hearing; and
<br />
<br />(2) It has been further determined that in order to void the
<br />interest certified to this assessment, by the County, it is necessary that
<br />the Council adopt a Resolution indicating their approval of the
<br />elimination of interest;
<br />
<br />(3) The Council hereby determines that it is desirous of
<br />voiding the interest, in the amount of $165.00, on the assessment for this
<br />improvement, against John Shelendich, 1459 Glenhill Road (Pin ID
<br />34-30-23-34-0017), and hereby authorizes the Clerk Administrator to
<br />forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Ramsey County,
<br />
<br />Adopted by the Arden Hills Council this 25th day of January,
<br />
<br />1988.
