<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 87-20 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS, AND ACCEPTING THE BID <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills and the City of Roseville have <br />entered into a Joint Powers Agreement for the purpose of construction of the <br />following improvement: <br /> <br />Construction of Glenhill Road, between the west line of Harnline <br />Avenue and the east line of Snelling Avenue, known as Arden Hills <br />Improvement P-ST-87-l, and consisting of storm sewer, street <br />reconstruction and concrete curb and guttert and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with this Joint Powers Agreement, the City of <br />Roseville shall conduct and perform certain functions and actions on behalf of <br />the City of Arden Hills; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota; <br /> <br />The Arden Hills City Council hereby affirms and ratifies the following <br />actions taken by the City of Roseville on its behalf: <br /> <br />1. Plans and specifications, as prepared by the Arden Hills/Roseville <br />engineers, Short-El1iott-Hendrickson, are hereby approved; and <br /> <br />2. The Advertisement for Bids has been prepared in accordance with <br />approved plans and specifications; and said Advertisement has been <br />published in the New Bri~hton Bulletin on February 25 and March 4, and <br />mailed to affected property owners on February 26, 1987; and <br /> <br />3. Pursuant to this Advertisement for Bids for the improvement, bids were <br />received, opened and tabulated on April 7, 1987, at 9:00 a.m.; and <br /> <br />4. Whereas, the low bidder was Total Asphalt Company, in the amount of <br />$49,129.15, and, in accordance with the Joint Powers Agreement, the <br />proper Roseville officials were authorized to sign the low bid and <br />return the deposits of all bids except that of the successful bidder, <br />and the next lowest bidder, which shall be returned upon signing of <br />the contract. <br /> <br />Arden Hills Council this 27th day of April, 1987. <br /> <br /> <br />If: - <br />~/:r~ ?//"7~h-e-w- <br />Robert L.
