It is important for the City Council to define the role of the Parks <br />Trails and Recreation Committee (pTRC) in the comprehensive open space and park design <br />discussions. Below are some discussion points: <br /> <br />o How involved should the PTRC become in the TCAAP open space and park <br />design discussions? <br />o What is the role of the PTRC in these discussions? <br />o Should the Committee be involved in joint planning meetings with the City <br />Council and Development Team? <br />o How much input will the PTRC have into the final design concept? <br />o How does the City and the PTRC work together to ensure that the new Arden <br />Hills' parks and open spaces become integrated with the existing or old? <br />o How does the TCAAP developmeut become incorporated into the current <br />comprehensive plan and strategies envisioned by the PTRC? <br />o What is the current vision of the TCAAP open space and park plan? <br />o How involved should the PTRC be in the potential athletic field development? <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />This information is provided in order to facilitate a discussion between the Parks Trails and <br />Recreation Committee and the City Council regarding TCAAP Parks and Trail Integration. <br /> <br />\\Metro-inet.us\ardenhills\PR&PW\Parks\Memos\Council Memos\TCAAP Integration.doc <br />
