<br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />March 14,2008 <br /> <br />Mayor aod City Council <br />Jim Willis, Interim City Administrator ~ <br />City Administrator Selection <br /> <br />The Council has scheduled this topic to be on your Work Session agenda. <br /> <br />Harry Brull has provided the attached materials to assist the Council m the City Administrator <br />Selection process. <br /> <br />The materials fall into two categories: <br />1. Memo from Mr. Broil, dated March 12, 2008, regarding the consensus of Council members on <br />various traits, skills, etc., that you are seeking in your City Administrator. <br />2. Materials relating to the process of conducting caodidate interviews, including interview <br />questions, evaluation criteria aod evaluation form. <br /> <br />I recommend that you review these materials prior to your Work Session aod be prepared to discuss <br />the key attributes you are seeking in your next Administrator to ensure that they are focused upon as <br />you prepare for interviews. <br /> <br />I also plan to share the input from each member regarding your respective personal schedules for <br />interviews. It would be desirable to lock in on at least two dates so Mr. Broil can proceed with the <br />selection process. <br />
