R.e4uirement that ignitian <br /> be lacked and car kuya rnnoved when <br /> parked. <br /> No peraon shall leave a motor vehicle <br /> unattended on any public road or publie <br /> property in the Village of Arden Hills, <br /> . or upon any unattended parking lot gen- <br /> erally held open for the use of the <br /> pwblic and operated in eonnection with <br /> a commercial or businees establiahment <br /> in the Village of Arden Hills, without <br /> first stopping the engine, locking the <br /> ignition, removing the key from the igni- <br /> tion of said motor vehicie, and taking <br /> the said key with him. <br /> Section 2. Pulice authorized to remove <br /> keya. <br /> Whenever sny police officer of the <br /> Village finds any such mator vehicle <br /> standing in violation of Section 1 auch <br /> police officer is authorized and c}irected <br /> to remove therefrom the ignition key left <br /> therein and to deliver the same to the <br /> officer in charge of the police depart- <br /> ment. <br /> Section 3. Penaltiea. <br /> . Any person violating any provision of <br /> this ordinance shall be guilty of a mis- <br /> demeanor and upon conviction shal] be <br /> punished by a fine not to exceed One <br /> Hundred Dollara ($100.00) or imprieon- <br /> ment not to exceed ninety (90) daYS. <br /> Section 4. Effeetive Date. <br /> This Ordinance shall become eYfective <br /> upon its passageand Dublication, . <br /> Passed by the Village Council this 29 <br /> day of June, 1964. <br /> D. F.
