AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SURFACE USE OF THE WATERS OF LAKE JOHANNA (62-78), It4POSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOFF AND REPEALING ORDINANCES Nos. 9 AND 33 The City Council of Arden Hills ordains: Section 1. Purpose, Intent and Application. As authorized y SectioT 3'7$ .32, Su-bd. 1 of Minnesota Statutes, as now in effect and as hereafter amended, this Ordinance is ! enacted for the purpose and with the intent to control and ~ regulate the use af the waters of Lake Johanna (62-78), T. 30, ; R. 23, S. 33-34, Ramsey County, Minnesota, a body of water located entirely within the boundaries of the City of Arden ! Hi11s, to promote its fullest use and enjoyment by the public in general and the citizens of the City of Arden Hills in particular; to insure safety for persons and property in connection with the use of said waters; to harmonize and integrate the varying uses of said waters; to fulfill a demand for the regulation of said waters as indicated by citizens of the City of Arden Hills who responded to questionnaires circulated by the City as ta the need far such regulations; and to promote the general health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Arden Hills. At least three copies of said Waters and Water- craft Safety Laws and Boat and Water Safety Rules and Regulations, so adopted, shall be marked as official copies and filed in t:le office of the Clerk-Administrator of the City of Arden Hills along witli this Ordinance.
