METAW(}LITAW SEiBR I <br /> #U~D. . The Village Council of ths Viilage of Arden Hiils does <br /> <br /> <br /> hereby ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Recitals. The Netropolitan Sewer Board <br /> ~ has determ ne to reseave unused capacity in the metropolitan <br /> disposal systeiri each year com~encing in 1973 for local <br /> qovernment unfts in w!tich new buildi.nqs are to he connected <br /> to the system and new connections to tho system are cowmenced ; <br /> during such year, and to allacate the debt servia+s costs <br /> i of such unused capacity fox the year amonq such local <br /> government units. in order for the local government units <br /> to pay such costs allocated to them each year, it will be ~A&"A <br /> necessary to establiah appropriate sewer serviae availability ~ <br /> and connection charges. <br /> - Section 2. Establishment of Char es. For the purpose <br /> of paying costs o reserve capacity a, ocated to Arden Hills <br /> each year by the Metropolitan Sewer Board, there is hereby <br /> established a charge for: <br /> (a) the availabiiity of treatment works and <br /> interceptors oomprising the metropolitan ` <br /> di9posal systemf and <br /> 1 <br /> (b) connections, direct and indirect, to the <br /> metropolitan disposal system, j <br /> The charge shall be collected on the basis of building <br /> permits issued after January 1, 1973, or cannection permits <br /> issued for connections to be made after January 1, 1973, on the <br /> following basis: <br /> (c) The charge shall be payable on the issuance ~ of each building permit for new construction <br /> issued after January le 1973. <br /> <br /> (d) A charge shall be.payable on the issuance of <br /> a building permit for alterations or additions <br /> to existinq buildinga if the alteration or <br /> addition will require additional reserve <br /> capacity, and the Service Availability Charge <br /> (SAC) unit shall be determined on the same <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ~ <br /> <br /> <br /> 1.; <br /> k . 1 <br /> r <br /> ~ <br /> . .,y" . , <br />
