75 Years <br /> • <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2026-014 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF THE 2026-2028 <br /> WATER EFFICIENCY GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION TO THE <br /> METROPOLITAN COUNCIL <br /> WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council is offering the 2026-2028 Water Efficiency Grant <br /> Program ("Grant Program") to assist municipal water suppliers in the seven-county metropolitan <br /> area in reducing water demand and ensuring the reliability of long-term drinking water supplies; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills ("City") operates a municipal public water supply <br /> system and recognizes the importance of water conservation for environmental sustainability and <br /> infrastructure cost-reduction; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Grant Program provides funding for the implementation of water-efficient <br /> product replacement and rebate programs for residential and/or commercial water customers; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Grant Program requires a municipal match of 20% of the total program <br /> cost, which the City has considered and programmed in its 2026 fiscal planning; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br /> application to the Minnesota, authorizes the submission of an Metropolitan Council for the Grant <br /> Program; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director or the City Administrator,or their <br /> successor or assignee, tY g p are authorized to act as the Ci s designated authorized re resentative(s) and <br /> point(s)of contact for this Grant Program and execute all documents related thereto. <br /> ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 13TH <br /> DAY OF APRIL, 2026. <br /> David Grant, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> 1.)1 �d� /7 <br /> Juli anson, Ci y Clerk <br /> To view the final document, access adopted Resolutions via Arden Hills Public Laserfiche Weblink by visiting <br /> cityofardenhills.org and clicking on Archived Documents under Helpful Links on our main webpage. <br />
