Res. #14 -006 <br /> A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC <br /> HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to action of the city council, a report has been <br /> prepared by Mark Statz of Stantec, with reference to the 2014 Street Mill <br /> and Overlay project, more fully described as construction of a mill and <br /> pavement overlay of the following streets: <br /> 1. 73 Street from Mill Road easterly to a point approximately 150 feet east of <br /> Quebec Street. <br /> 2. Quebec Street from 73 to Old Mill Road <br /> 3. Old Mill Road from 73 Street to a point approximately 250 feet north of <br /> Revoir Street <br /> 4. All of Revoir Street <br /> 5. Deer Pass Drive from 20 Avenue west and then north to its terminus in the <br /> cul -de -sac <br /> 6. Lakeland Circle east from Centerville Road to Main Street <br /> 7. Meadow Lane from Centerville Road to Dupre Road <br /> 8. Dupre Road from a point approximately 150 feet easterly of Meadow Lane <br /> easterly then southerly to a point approximately 150 feet north of Center <br /> Street <br /> 9. Pioneer Lane from Dupre Road to Eagle Trail <br /> 10. Brian Court from Brian Drive easterly to its terminus in the cul -de -sac. <br /> 11. All of Steven Lane <br /> 12. Lakeland Circle West from Centerville Road to Main Street <br /> 13. Centerville Road from Lakeland Circle north a distance of approximately 150 <br /> feet. <br /> WHEREAS, such report indicates that the proposed improvement is <br /> feasible. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The Council will consider the improvement in accordance with the <br /> report and the assessment of the benefiting property for all or a portion <br /> of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter <br /> 429 at an estimated cost of $416,100. <br /> 2. The Council finds that the proposed improvement has no relationship to <br /> the Comprehensive Plan since the project is primarily rehabilitation of <br /> existing streets, and therefore will not require review by the Planning <br /> and Zoning Commission. <br />
